I just got home from Otakon and am starting to work through the photos. I wasn't aware of the light stand policy for the con, but we managed to make some great art even with a much smaller kit than I was planning on deploying. I will definitely have shots back to everyone before Dragoncon (end of the month). Thank you so much to everyone that came out to shoot with me!
All the pics from ColossalCon have been delivered now and a gallery featuring some of those shots is up on the site. It was by far my best con experience so far, from both a photography and social perspective. The venue makes it a very unique experience and I definitely recommend that every con-goer at least tries it once.
Hi, friends. I'm working through the photos from AB and AM now. I should have "everything" posted within the next 2 weeks, with some potential to revisit for composites and more in-depth edits after that. I didn't get to shoot as much as I would've liked at these cons, but I still had a great time and met a bunch of awesome new people. I'll be out of the con scene til MomoCon at the end of next month, so I'll have an opportunity to do more semi-local on-location shoots in the meantime.
4/12 update - That's a wrap for all the 1-off con shots for these two. Enjoy.
3/1 UPDATE: Consider the Katsu gallery "done" for now. I've got to prioritize my client work over hall shots and now I'm about to be overtaken by more events. I hope to get back to these at some point but I'm not making any guarantees.
2/21 UPDATE: I've started uploading photos to the gallery here and on Facebook. Please tag anyone that you recognize! I'll be uploading little by little as I finish stuff. Expect a bigger wave of photos to come this weekend when I have more time to work.
The KatsuCrunch ends for cosplayers when the event is over, but that's just the beginning for photographers. Your photos are coming. I'll be home to start editing on Monday evening and will be posting some images here and on social media every day as I work through them. I expect it'll be about two weeks for me to work through everything. Feel free to contact me here or on social media (links at bottom of page) if you have any questions.
Hi, people. I decided to make a website as a hub for my work. No more "okay I'm X on this social media outlet but my email is Y and I'll be posting Z over here..." or trying to figure out how to get pictures to a stranger at a con - everything comes through here. I intend to use this page to post galleries from photoshoots, con hallway shots, outtakes, and more.
